Metacognition, Stress – Relaxation Balance & Related Hormones

چکیده

This paper examines the interaction between metacognition and stress response. Specifically, main purpose of this study is to trace metacognition, sympathetic-parasympathetic nervous system basic stress-related hormones/neurotransmitters. To achieve aim, research seeks address following questions: Can regulate hormones sympathetic hyperactivity? How can it contribute regulation uncontrollable stress? What role executive functions? stop cells neurons from degeneration brain shrinking? The evidence support hypothesis that there a deep relationship autonomic system. Therefore, above finding paves way for design new management strategies, which could implemented in family, school workplace. Uncontrollable constitutes “health epidemic” our century. Mental mood disorders, premature ageing, cognitive impairments, learning disabilities are some threats. There an urgent need focus on resilience order cope with stay balance.

Stress relaxation of fibroblasts activates a cyclic AMP signaling pathway

Mechanical force regulates gene expression and cell proliferation in a variety of cell types, but the mechanotransducers and signaling mechanisms involved are highly speculative. We studied the fibroblast signaling mechanism that is activated when cells are switched from mechanically stressed to mechanically relaxed conditions, i.e., stress relaxation. Within 10 min after initiation of stress r...

Stress and stress-related hormones during in-vitro fertilization treatment.

Whether stress and infertility are linked as cause or consequence is unclear, and there is no consensus on the most appropriate methods for measuring stress in infertile women. To address this question, we measured changes in biochemical and questionnaire-based assessments of stress in infertile women. Median baseline, follicular phase and pre-operative serum prolactin (229, 311 and 457 mIU/l) ...

12 hz electromagnetic field changes stress-related hormones of rat

due to the increasing presence of electromagnetic radiation in advanced societies, investigation of the effects of this radiation on humans has attracted the interest of many researchers. the non- ionizing radiation can induce numerous effects through biomolecules in the tissue and cells. in the current study, effects of 12 hz electromagnetic waves investigated on neuronal hormone levels in rat...

Hormones, brain and stress.

The stress system orchestrates body and brain responses to the environment. This action exerted by the mediators of the stress system has two modes of operation. The immediate response mode driven by corticotropin-releasing hormone (CRH) organises via CRH-1 receptors the behavioural, sympathetic and hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal (HPA) responses to a stressor. In the other - slower - mode, whic...

The effect of ovarian hormones on stress relaxation in the uterus of the pregnant rat.

Tissue strip taken from rat uterine ampulla on day 20 of pregnancy was elongated at a contrast rate in Tyrode's solution at 37 degrees C to the length of a specified peak stress, and the stress decline was recorded at this length. The stress decline in uterine strips of ovariectomized progesterone-treated rats was significantly slower than those in intact pregnant rats at any different peak str...
